We’ve been scheming as a family for awhile about building some sort of play house for the kids in our backyard — something whimsical, but decidedly modern, and something easy to do. Last month we pilfered a huge office building window pane from some one’s bulk trash on the side of the road, which got us thinking about using it for the aforementioned play house. I had been mulling over just how to use the glass, not sure we’d be able to conceive of a structure that could employ it with any grace, until I came across this amazing tree house design that requires just such a piece of glass. I’m completely thrilled about this design, as it is entirely possible for a few dads and moms with brawn and a little skill to riff on the idea to put something like it together. I’m all in!
